It’s been a while, but I’m back with another tip on how you can increase the numbers of visitors to your website.
Again, the whole point of having a website is to promote whatever it is you have to offer, and in the case of a ministry website, what we have to offer is Christ.
So in this post, I want to give you another strategy that you can use to get more people stopping by your site.
I call it The Free Gift.
Everybody likes free gifts.
UponThisRock.com has grown by giving away free graphics.
So, to get more people stopping by your site, you have to offer some kind of free gift. When I say a free gift, I’m talking about a gift that has some kind of value to your visitors.
Take a look at your site. What do you offer for free?
What I’ve found is that a lot of ministry sites will give out a lot of information about their ministry, but there is nothing that the visitor can take away with them other than that information.
What is there that will bring that visitor back?
What is there that the visitor can share about your site with their friends?
“Hey, you need to stop by my church’s website. You get a free gift.”
So, what kind of gift can you give away?
Here are some ideas:
1. An audio file of your worship team.
2. A downloadable PDF version of your message. Have a new one each week.
3. An e-book related to your ministry.
4. A calendar or address book (Add your ministry’s name and address.)
5. Coupons for discounts at your ministry bookstore, if you have one.
You can be creative with this. Think of what you can offer your visitors to keep them coming back week after week.
It has to be free, and it has to have some kind of value.
